ONE EVENT. SIX CONNECTED STEPS.

The complete race-day journey.

Keep the participant record connected from entry to official result.

  1. Create your event

Set up the race, share event details and enable RFID race timing. Use the existing public or private event workflow.

  2. Register your runners

Let members and new participants sign up online, with their profile and registration linked to the event.

  3. Collect entry payments

Use the event payment flow and bring paid registrations into the timing roster, keeping race entries organized.

  4. Allocate RFID bibs

The timing administrator links each runner’s bib and RFID tag to their registration, ready for collection and race day.

  5. Capture the race

Readers and antennas capture tag crossings at configured start, split and finish points. Organizers follow incoming reads and provisional results.

  6. Review & publish results

Close the race, review incomplete crossings and publish official results. Runners can find published races in the public results directory.

THE TECHNOLOGY AT THE LINE

Small tag. Connected course.

RFID bibs, readers and antennas work together to turn a runner’s crossing into a timing record.

IDENTIFY

RFID race bibs

A lightweight passive tag identifies the runner as they pass a timing point. Each tag is linked to a participant before the race.

CAPTURE

RFID readers

Compatible readers collect tag detections. The local reader connection forwards those reads to the race timing platform.

COVER THE COURSE

Timing antennas

Antennas define the read zones at start, split and finish. Placement is planned and tested for lane width and runner flow.

FROM CROSSINGS TO CONFIDENCE

A result with a journey behind it.

Chip time connects a runner’s valid start and finish crossings. Required splits help confirm the course was completed in order.

Incomplete crossings stay available for review before organizers publish official results.

BEFORE THE START

Your race, thoughtfully prepared.

Can we manage registration and timing together?

Yes. The workflow connects existing event registration and payments to the timing roster. The timing administrator synchronizes paid participants and allocates RFID tags, while the organizer manages their event and results.

What does an RFID timing setup include?

Plan for compatible tagged bibs, readers, antennas, power, a local reader connection and network access. The number and placement of timing points depend on your course. Contact the team to confirm hardware compatibility and the setup for your race.

Are results automatically public?

No. Organizers review the race and choose when to publish official results. The public results directory shows published races.

How should we prepare for race day?

Confirm bib assignments, test all timing points with the selected hardware, and check power and connectivity before the start. Agree a backup timing and data recovery plan with your timing team.
